As Earth Day approaches we want to tell you not only how we strive to make a difference every day in our shop, but give you some great socially distant ideas on how to spend this earth day. We also want to highlight our favorite eco-friendly apparel options and even throw in a great deal! Here at Artee we always strive to produce the best prints for our customers and as rare as misprints or damages are, they do occasionally happen. But we make the most of each item reusing them for cleaning, ink testers, and so much more. Being in the t-shirt business we will have suppliers bring us promotional shirts from time to time and they don’t always get loved. With these shirts as well as discontinued sample shirts we do our part for the community and donate to local women's shelters.
We also make an effort to reduce our daily carbon footprint. Our employees make an effort to walk, bike, transit, and skateboard to work every day. During the cleaning stages of production, we use a filtration system that reduces the waste and chemicals from entering the water system, and a recirculation system to reduce cleaning chemicals when reclaiming screens. We also love to stick to the classic reuse, reduce and recycle around the office.
This Earth Day we are encouraging everyone to find a new way to reuse an old shirt instead of just throwing it away. Maybe make a new mask, cut it up to change its style, or even make a cat bed, the options are endless. Want to do even more? Volunteer or organize a socially distant cleanup, plant a tree or support sustainable sources.
